hehe internet is back!

Wow... I haven't had the internet for.... hum... we were meant to move on the 9th of june? soo that would be....17 days? I never realised how much I used it until I didn't have it!!!

I've had to unenroll in all my TAFE units and then re-enroll or I would have failed because the semester ended on friday. Gar! but I AM looking forward to next term's work, it has no OH&S plus we get to choose electives, which will be fun!!

We are finally moved in. Still not entirely unpacked, but moved in, so that's something. I will invite people over when I finish work and when we are entirely unpacked and everything looks reasonable again. Haha I had Leah over when it was just me and no furniture, no fridge, etc etc. All I had was a mattress on the floor.

I've decided to do some gardening when I finish work, I'll have to look into plants that like a lot of shade, because we don't have much light in the areas I want to plant stuff in.

I keep saying 'when I finish work', just for the record, Friday is my last day. After that I have to start teaching lessons and stuff like that to make money!

I took Fox to his first event at one* level this weekend. It was at Macarthur. He was really good and tried really hard. We didn't place, mostly because he had been sick for a few weeks so he wasn't really up to fitness, but I plan to start some fitness work with him next week, which should be good. I also have to enter Camden this week, it's going to be our first international competition, I'm very excited!! Then we have another comp at Worrigee (also international) before Sydney International Three Day Event.. hehehehehehehehe very exciting for me!!!!! Have to get lots of lessons with John and Pip between now and then!!

Singing in the rain

What is this strange stuff falling from the sky I wonder? Anyway, I love it, because I went to work this morning, fed the horses then got told I could go home! So now I can do my TAFE work and have a PROPER day off this weekend! Woot! I also rang this lady about a job, so that's good, I think I have it (she seemed to be saying that).. just have to wait for her to ring me back and tell me when to start etc. yay! I also talked to Renee yesterday who said that she knows of a job that I can do the other three days a week which only takes from 7-9am.. so that's very easy for me! Double woot!

Anyway, I should probably actually DO some TAFE work, seeing as that was my original plan. Then I'm going to watch some form of video/movie and then do some research for my train-to-teach day next tuesday... then do some research before the pc committee meeting on wednesday. OK.. I think that's all. Tata!

*NEWS*

Hahaha I finally have something to write about. I quit my job. I'm going to work part time from now on and focus on my TAFE work and my riding! Yay! There were a lot of reasons but I'm not going into them on here because (as I've discovered) the internet isn't exactly a secure place, and I've already been yelled at once for discussing this stuff, so I'm not in the mood to have that happen again. Anyway, I'm very happy...

I've also decided that I have two options for what to do with myself next year:

1. Work at Falcon Park- Go back to the place on the central coast and work there for 12 months, this is my preference of my two options, it will give me "hands-on" experience and also I can work on my riding a lot while I'm there (have lessons from Pip etc)

2. Go to CSU in Wagga - Charles Sturt University in Wagga have a course I think I'd like to do (apparently my mum can suddenly afford it, amazing) it is a Bachelor of Applied Science (Equine Studies).. I know I'm not really a scientific person, but I'm sure if it involved something that interested me I could learn to be more scientific?! Anyway, I could live there, take my horse, and while I'm there do a Diploma of Equine Tactile Therapy (in simple terms a horse massage course) by correspondence... I think this is a pretty good option too if number one doesn't work out for whatever reason. I also figure that I would actually have a fair bit of time to compete if I was at uni because nobody I've spoken to seems to be doing full monday-friday weeks at uni.. yay! Anyway it's a three year course, ideally I'd only like to do a year on campus and the rest by distance but if I had to stay on campus I guess that would be OK.

wish me luck!! Tell me what you think (lol does anyone read this anymore or has everyone given up on it?!?!) lol I bet Steph will like the uni idea!! Hehehehe

OK well better go, work tomorrow...I finish there at the end of this month, after that I can actually have some FREE TIME...amazing, I think I've forgotten what that actually feels like!!
